Ipswich Borough Council is recruiting to the Head of People and Governance post, with the support of the East of England LGA.

Ipswich is one of the UK’s fastest growing regional centres and is investing in an exciting future. Right now we are developing land, homes and partnerships to help our town meet its ambitions and achieve its potential.

The Head of People and Governance is a new post that will help ensure that Ipswich Borough Council can achieve its ambitions.

The successful candidate will bring new ideas and inspiration to benefit both the council and the town, forging relationships to strengthen our Corporate Management team.  They will be a proven and experienced professional with the leadership and management skills necessary to lead our Legal & Democratic Services, Human Resources, Internal Audit and Corporate Support functions.
